Comcast to remove NFL from most popular package

In the business sector, being able to show NFL games is one of the most important ways to keep customers spending money. For bars and restaurants that means higher average checks, for other types of businesses with waiting areas it means longer perceived wait times and lower customer satisfaction. Showing NFL games keeps customers satisfied and spending money for around 3 hours per game.

Business owners with Comcast’s most popular package will no longer have the ability to show NFL Network to their customers and will miss out on these additional revenue opportunities. Businesses will risk missing important rivalry games or games with playoff implications later on in the year as this move from Comcast removes a channel previously included in the package and now requires and a costly upgrade.

The new Thursday Night Football begins on September 13th with games exclusive to NFL Network. If you have Comcast you and your customers may be missing out.
